Vehicle Technology Research Professional, Red River College

Kevin Dickson is currently a Vehicle Technology Research Professional at Red River College working with the Research, Partnership and Innovation team. Kevin’s key role is to foster collaborative joint developments and research between many diverse OEM’s and the College. In addition, Kevin is the Project Manager for the construction of the new MotiveLab climatic chamber and Chassis Dynamometer currently being constructed at Red River College’s Notre Dame Campus.

He has previously worked with several Electronics Design and Manufacturing firms starting his career in the design and manufacturer of large mainframe disk drives at Unisys. More recently, Kevin worked at Vansco Electronics/Parker Hannifin having held senior positions in both Engineering Management and International Business development. His career has given him the opportunity to travel the globe collaborating and doing business with many of the world’s largest heavy equipment manufacturers.

Kevin earned a Master’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Manitoba, and he, his wife, and 2 adult children currently all reside in Winnipeg.
